Afternoon Tea and Activity

New for 2020 – our Afternoon Tea Experience. We will be offering our lovely studio space for a 3-hour period and providing you with a lovely afternoon tea with the opportunity to learn a new skill.Included in our afternoon tea with be a selection of finger sandwiches on freshly baked bread, a selection of sweet and savouries including our delicious homemade savoury sausage rolls, and speciality cake of the day plus of course our homemade scones with delicious jam & Cornish cream. A choice of tea or coffee will be served. Upon booking you will be given the opportunity to take advantage of our shortbread biscuit experience, in line with your occasion; baby shower, hen party etc. Each attendee will be given a themed shortbread biscuit to decorate having watched a demonstration form our expert tutor on covering, piping techniques and adding embellishment to the design. On completion the biscuits will be judged and the most appealing will be presented with a bottle of wine which can be shared or taken home to enjoy.

We can provide other activities if required, for example a class on modelling, flower making or just a demonstration whilst you sit and watch. Please note as this additional service is designed exclusive to you it will be costed accordingly and in addition to the base price.

If you wish you can request the room to be decorated for your arrival (extra charge will apply) and receive a 20% discount on booking a bespoke celebration cake. We have the facility to play background music if you wanted
Please note:  When booking we require a minimum of six guests and a maximum of eight if guests are within a family bubble.

Location

This course is held in our new teaching facility The Studio. Free Car parking is available very nearby. We are situated within yards of the local bus station and taxi rank, with only a five-minute walk to Atherstone train station (with an hourly service seven-days-a-week to most locations including London and Crewe). Based in the heart of the Midlands Atherstone is on the main A5 national route and close to the M42 motorway, allowing easy access to Birmingham Airport. The Studio offers an informal relaxed atmosphere and as we only cater for small numbers, it ensures you will get a very close and personal teaching experience. Requirements

You need to bring an apron, a box to transport your masterpiece home if activity is chosen.

Price: £35 per person tea + activity if required @ additional charge (tuition packages start at £15 per person depending on subject matter and materials required)
