In this Bento & cupcake we will be showing you various piping techniques including classic and rose swirls and more.

In this Bento and Cupcake Class we will be showing you how to fill crumb coat and produce a smooth buttercream  4″ sponge. You will then be shown modern piping techniques using various piping tubes including classic and rose swirls, and the Russian nozzles. You will be shown how to colour the frosting we supply and discuss the making of Swiss meringue and the classic America frosting. You will be shown ways to produce a two-tone and edge finish.  Once you feel confident practising the variety of piping techniques and your mini cake is covered you will be left to decorate your bento and cupcakes, completing the effect with sprinkles and dragess

A presentation box will be provided to transport your creation safely home



This course is held in our new teaching facility The Studio. Free Car parking is available very nearby. We are situated within yards of the local bus station and taxi rank, with only a five-minute walk to Atherstone train station (with an hourly service seven-days-a-week to most locations including London and Crewe). Based in the heart of the Midlands Atherstone is on the main A5 national route and close to the M42 motorway, allowing easy access to Birmingham Airport. The Studio offers an informal relaxed atmosphere and as we only cater for small numbers, it ensures you will get a very close and personal teaching experience. Places are limited so book today to avoid disappointment! At the CakeArt Studio you can be sure of an excellent service in a professional environment. Our class only caters for a maximum of eight students, ensuring you get individual attention in intimate friendly surroundings.


The course price includes everything you need plus the use of all sugar craft tools, and equipment. Please note due to Covid 19 and the ever changing Government rulings, students may require to sanitise equipment used before and after or wear gloves. Details will be sent prior to the class starting.

This is extremely important and your course place depends on us receiving this information in a timely manner. If for any reason you do not submit this form in time you will lose your course place and any entitlement to a refund.
