With the increasing demand of home baked cakes, it’s important that you cost your cakes correctly and understand the basics in setting up a business from home.

This Cake Costing and Opening Your Own Home Business Class in an optional extra for the CAS Students which can be booked during the course for a discounted additional fee of £25 (Please email us for discount code). It’s also available for non-students to attend at the full price of £45. We’re not saying you should charge over the odd prices, but we feel you should be able to cover your outlay and expect a little something for your time, dedication and skill. We will explain how to cost correctly and working out your hourly rate. We hope this mini class will benefit anyone already in business or anyone thinking of making cakes for business as well as fun. This is the ideal time to ask our professional questions and make notes. This is a demonstration only and unfortunately we can only accommodate eight persons per sitting so book early.
This course is held in our new teaching facility The Studio. Free Car parking is available very nearby. We are situated within yards of the local bus station and taxi rank, with only a five-minute walk to Atherstone train station (with an hourly service seven-days-a-week to most locations including London and Crewe). Based in the heart of the Midlands Atherstone is on the main A5 national route and close to the M42 motorway, allowing easy access to Birmingham Airport. The Studio offers an informal relaxed atmosphere and as we only cater for small numbers, it ensures you will get a very close and personal teaching experience.
