A fun filled day to keep the children amused during the summer term. The farm is a day of cupcakes, cake toppers and individual cow face cake.

Description

A day for your children to have fun and you time to relax knowing they are enjoying themselves. We’ve devised this course especially for 12 to 16-year olds during the school holiday. This is a full day course and the student will learn how to carve, split, jam and crumb coat a sponge base. They will then be taught how to professionally cover their base with sugarpaste producing a smooth flawless finish in the shape of a cow. After lunch the children will be shown various skills to produce a selection of farm-based cupcakes. The students will learn how too basically pipe buttercream onto cupcakes, make sugar discs in the shape of farm animals and simple models. By the end of the day each student will have a 6-inch cow face sponge and six adorable cupcakes. Please note: we will not allow the student to leave the premises unless accompanied by an authorised guardian or parent.

This course is held in our new teaching facility The Studio. Free Car parking is available very nearby. We are situated within yards of the local bus station and taxi rank, with only a five-minute walk to Atherstone train station (with an hourly service seven-days-a-week to most locations including London and Crewe). Based in the heart of the Midlands Atherstone is on the main A5 national route and close to the M42 motorway, allowing easy access to Birmingham Airport. The Studio offers an informal relaxed atmosphere and as we only cater for small numbers, it ensures you will get a very close and personal teaching experience.
