Childrens Beginners Cupcakes Class

This specially designed Children’s Beginners Cupcake Class is for children between the ages of 10 and 15. So, if you have a budding young baker living with you who wants to learn how to decorate like the professionals and you want a few hours to yourself, don’t miss out on a chance of a place. This will be a small class with a maximum of six students. Each student will be given the ingredient to make six cupcakes and buttercream. Under the instruction of one of our qualified tutors they will learn the method and make both. Whilst the cupcakes are cooking, and cooling students will be shown basic buttercream skills and the use of plunger cutters to decorate when complete. This is a 3.5-hour class and may not be suitable for very young children. The aim of the class is to teach budding bakers some new skills which they can then practice at home. By the end of the class, they will be able to decorate perfect little cupcakes using cutters, moulds and piped buttercream. Children do not need to have any prior experience but should have some interest in baking, cakes or learning a new skill.

Included

Everyone in the class will be provided with a full set of equipment to use during lesson, so your child will not need to bring anything with them. Due to Government guide lines and to keep overheads down we ask that students bring Antibacterial wipes or spray and kitchen roll. Face Mask need not be worn by children under the age of 11

This course is held in our new teaching facility The Studio. Free Car parking is available very nearby. We are situated within yards of the local bus station and taxi rank, with only a five-minute walk to Atherstone train station (with an hourly service seven-days-a-week to most locations including London and Crewe). Based in the heart of the Midlands Atherstone is on the main A5 national route and close to the M42 motorway, allowing easy access to Birmingham Airport. The Studio offers an informal relaxed atmosphere and as we only cater for small numbers, it ensures you will get a very close and personal teaching experience.
