The objective of this lesson is to show the student how important the preparation of your cake is important to ensure a professional flawless finish. We will discuss the various options of Sugarpaste on the market, how to colour Sugarpaste if required and what professional equipment is really necessary to get the results professional achieve. A class not to miss for any beginner Cake Decorating hobbyist.
You will prepare your own sponge base ready to cover with Sugarpaste. You will then cover your prepared cake with Sugarpaste. Anyone wishing to make the professional Swiss meringue buttercream can do so after class as a 1.2.1.

1kg professional sugarpaste, Trex, 8″ round Dummy, 10″ round cake drum and box to transport home safely, food colouring of choice, (1 metre of 15mm ribbon, 1 metre of narrow ribbon to compliment, double sided sellotape and an apron. Antibacterial wipes and kitchen towel. Face Mask

This course is held in our new teaching facility The Studio. Free Car parking is available very nearby. We are situated within yards of the local bus station and taxi rank, with only a five-minute walk to Atherstone train station (with an hourly service seven-days-a-week to most locations including London and Crewe).
