This Mini 4-inch Christmas Cakes Class will show new skills and techniques to turn an 8-inch fruit cake into four small cakes and solve your gift dilemmas with last minute ideas. These beautiful individual cakes will make an impressive co-ordinated centrepiece for your Christmas celebration table. You will be taught how to create four individual designs using embossing artwork, modelling, moulds, fabric ideas and more, plus edible sparkle and glitter – all in one day! Please note illustration is only an example of how varied with the techniques taught your cakes can inspire to look.

An 8″ square fruit cake, 2 kg sugarpaste and 1.5 kg marzipan, 4 x 6” square drums and boxes to transport finished cakes home, an apron and a packed lunch.

We will provide all the use of specialist cutters/equipment throughout this course and misc materials.

This course is held in our new teaching facility The Studio. Free Car parking is available very nearby. We are situated within yards of the local bus station and taxi rank, with only a five-minute walk to Atherstone train station (with an hourly service seven-days-a-week to most locations including London and Crewe). Based in the heart of the Midlands Atherstone is on the main A5 national route and close to the M42 motorway, allowing easy access to Birmingham Airport. The Studio offers an informal relaxed atmosphere and as we only cater for small numbers, it ensures you will get a very close and personal teaching experience.
