Learn to cut, divide, fill and ice your round cake to a smooth straight edged professional finish, using ganache on the Pretty Hat Box Cake Class. Then decorate your cake like a real parcel with a big fabric bow, ribbons, stars/circles/hearts and a gift tag – all made from sugar! In just one day we will use sugarpaste, modelling paste and flower paste! this beautiful cake is ideal as a Mother’s Day project.

This course is held in our new teaching facility The Studio. Free Car parking is available very nearby. We are situated within yards of the local bus station and taxi rank, with only a five-minute walk to Atherstone train station (with an hourly service seven-days-a-week to most locations including London and Crewe). Based in the heart of the Midlands Atherstone is on the main A5 national route and close to the M42 motorway, allowing easy access to Birmingham Airport. The Studio offers an informal relaxed atmosphere and as we only cater for small numbers, it ensures you will get a very close and personal teaching experience. We supply your cake, all buttercream, icings, boards, boxes and we also provide the use of all equipment needed. However due to COVID restrictions we ask that you bring sterilising wipes to use on your work station throughout your time with us

Requirements

Requirements

All you need to bring is an apron and lunch. Due to COVID restrictions all students must vacate the room for 30 mins during lunch time to allow staff to clean and ensure a safe environment for your return. We ask that you bring your own drinking vessel if you require a hot drink during the day or your own other liquid refreshment
